Van2Share – Web design and Rebranding
Responsive interface design and Rebranding for Van2share, an innovative sharing platform from Mercedes-Benz.
Van2share is a digital platform connecting drivers, vehicles, and order requirements. Based on keyless access or customized solutions, Van2share enables sharing functionalities and new business models. It is a simple, fast, sustainable and intelligent way to get around for business purposes on-demand.
Overview
Among my tasks in this project were the development of a brand new image for Van2Share, the creation of a release product film as well as the complete web redesign. My main role was improving the visual design and usability of the website, as well as working on new improvements and elements that facilitate and ease the product for users:
- Working on a new atomic design system, ensuring visual consistency throughout the brand image and website
- Wireframing, prototyping and testing to validate different products
- Creating visual assets for the company
- Detecting Pain Points and working on functional solutions
- Supervising the ideation, wireframing, design and delivery process to front-end development
Lab1886 – Pictograms
A series of pictograms designed to represent the different locations of Lab1886 (an independent innovation lab within Daimler AG, founded to shape the future of mobility through innovation in automotive engineering).
For each pictogram an iconic or particular aspect of each location was taken into consideration, developing a graphic and innovative series of icons.
Daimler Balanced Strategy – Web design
Another Daimler-related project: the responsive UI design for Balanced Strategy (an internal news blog / intranet for the employees of Daimler Financial Services worldwide).
The Daimler services range from rental, leasing and financing services, fleet management and insurance to app-based mobility solutions such as car sharing or ride-hailing.
Overview
In this project I was in charge of the website structure and original design of the Daimler intranet, following the preexisting design guidelines and styles that the brand already had established. The main goal was to develop a new and fresh interface, using new components while ensuring brand consistency and improving the UI as much as possible, to make it more attractive and intuitive for digital channel users.
Working on a new atomic design system, ensuring visual consistency and adequate usability simplifying and adapting complex contents to intuitive user interfaces
Working together with other UIers, stakeholders, and programmers to create and test solutions for the company and improve the product
Wireframing and prototyping, contributing and creating new components and elements for the Daimler Financial Service Design System
Supervising the wireframing, design and delivery process to front-end development
